Responsibilities

• Provides confidential, compassionate HIV/STD/Hep C counseling and testing at community sites and events.
• Performs blood draws, specimen collection, and transport of biohazard and urine samples for HIV, syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and Hep C.
• Offers HIV/STD/PrEP education and linkage to care.
• Documents client registration in medical records and lab websites.
• Records tests and results and provides counseling to clients returning for results and treatment.
• Participates in community outreach and staff meetings.
