Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Health Information Management Specialist for on-site work at Nicklaus - NCHS Corporate Headquarters in Miami, FL. The role requires bilingual Spanish/English capabilities and involves analyzing and processing medical records to ensure timely chart completion.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle systems preferred.
• CRCR certification must be obtained within 9 months of hire (company paid).
• Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations preferred.
• EMR workflow experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reanalyze medical records accurately and timely.
• Process accounts from Meditech System and manage missing documentation queues.
• Follow up with departments and providers to obtain documents.
• Document workflows and defects in the deficiency management system.
• Escalate system or process issues to management as needed.
• Assist with other HIM tasks as assigned.
