Qualifications

• Certified HHA or active CNA license is required.
• Bilingual ability is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid SSN.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English at an average adult level.
• Valid driver’s license with no serious driving violations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Transferring and positioning of client.
• Observing and reporting changes in physical and mental conditions.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Follow supervisor directions and be flexible with duties.
• Complete required health screenings as required.
• Document activities in the Care Plan Book daily.
• Report significant client changes to the office immediately.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living
• Transferring and positioning of client
• Observing and reporting changes of physical and mental conditions
• Companionship and conversation
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
• Ability to read, write and speak English at an average adult level
• Ability to drive or use public transportation to get to work
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid social security number
• Complete any required health screenings as required
• Valid driver’s license with no serious driving violations
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers

Other Requirements

• Document activities in the Care Plan Book daily (if applicable)
• Report any significant client changes to the office immediately
• Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Senior Helpers Employee Handbook and Training Manual
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• This job requires you to be a Certified HHA or have an active CNA license.
