Job summary

Senior Helpers of Sunrise is seeking a compassionate Certified HHA or CNA to provide one-on-one in-home care to clients in our Sunrise franchise. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor changes in condition, and ensure dignity and respect in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or active CNA license required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be 18+ with valid SSN and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Transferring and positioning of client.
• Observing and reporting changes in physical and mental conditions.
• Companionship and conversation.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.
• Follow safety and care policies with dignity and respect.
• Read, write and speak English at an average adult level.
• Ability to drive or use public transportation to get to work.
• Criminal background check prior to employment.
• Flexible and adaptable to new situations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with activities of daily living

• Complete any required health screenings as required
• Valid driver's license with no serious driving violations

Other Requirements

• Document activities in the Care Plan Book daily (if applicable)
• Report any significant client changes to the office immediately
• Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Senior Helpers Employee Handbook and Training Manual
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• This job requires you to be a Certified HHA or have an active CNA license.
