Job summary

Strong Excel skills and familiarity with Medicare Advantage and HMOs are preferred. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• One year of experience in medical office.
• Familiar with Medicare Advantage plans and HMOs preferred.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Check PCP schedules weekly and review charts for outstanding HEDIS measures.
• Create or modify HEDIS ENCOUNTERS in charts communicating with Physicians and Medical Staff.
• Review or create reports in Excel with filtering, sorting, and grouping.
• Update member lists with insurance groups and create call lists for required visits.
• Assist with external chart audits and provide required information.
• Maintain a log of chart audits and outcomes.
• Submit/report patient information to health plans via portals as directed.
• Perform other duties as required.
