Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a Customer Service Representative to screen non-insured patients and help them access care. You will assist with public health coverage applications, provide education, and manage outreach activities.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, solid customer service, and computer skills. A high school diploma is required, with preference for AA/BA in Social Services. This is an on-site, full-time hourly position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; AA or BA in Social Services preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in health care.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required; able to read/write in both English and Spanish; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between clients and clinic to reduce barriers to care.
• Assist with public health coverage applications and enrollment.
• Support outreach and distribute approved marketing materials.
• Maintain activity records and submit progress reports.
• Advocate for customers to improve access to care and services.
