Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston, TX is hiring a Grocery Clerk for Store 050 Houston-Lockwood (ages 16-17). Under direct supervision of the Grocery Manager, you will provide friendly service, help customers, and maintain displays.

This entry-level role requires the ability to read basic instructions, lift up to 60 pounds, and work nights or weekends. Bilingual Spanish/English is valued; prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English to interact with customers and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and communicate clearly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers.
• Assist with maintaining display cases and self-serve displays.
• Keep shelves clean, stocked, and rotated.
• Work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
• Stand, walk, lift up to 60 pounds as required.
