Job summary

Street Level Strategy is seeking part-time canvassers to support a Fresno-focused campaign, engaging residents door-to-door to boost civic participation and leadership development. You will work in Merced and nearby areas, logging data accurately and representing the campaign professionally.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English and Spanish, with 1–2 years of canvassing or outreach experience, strong interpersonal skills, and reliable time management.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in canvassing, advocacy or outreach preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Strong data-entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work 28+ hours weekly and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive community outreach through door-to-door canvassing and inform residents about local initiatives.
• Encourage civic participation via direct conversations.
• Educate residents on issues and actions they can take.
• Log canvassing activity in CRM systems with accuracy.
• Represent the campaign professionally in the field.
• Build relationships and address resident concerns to foster trust.
