Job summary

Street Level Strategy is seeking part-time canvassers to support a Fresno-based grassroots campaign focused on community improvement. The role involves door-to-door outreach, informing residents about local initiatives, and driving civic participation through one-on-one conversations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of canvassing, advocacy, or community outreach preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; comfortable communicating with diverse communities.
• Detail-oriented with strong data-entry accuracy.
• Able to use digital tools for tracking and communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing to inform residents about local initiatives and key issues.
• Encourage civic participation through direct, one-on-one conversations.
• Clearly explain relevant issues and how individuals can take action.
• Log canvassing activity in CRM systems with accuracy.
• Represent the campaign professionally in the field.
• Build rapport with residents and respond to concerns.
