Job summary

Amgen in Puerto Rico is seeking an Associate Manufacturing – AML 7 to support 24×7 production, operating equipment and ensuring GMP compliance.

You will work on bioreactors and related systems, document activities in SAP and batch records, and collaborate with engineers and leads to resolve issues.

The role requires a degree and willingness to work rotating shifts, with growth opportunities in a global biotech leader.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences or engineering field.
• Associate’s degree plus 6 months of manufacturing work experience.
• High school/GED plus 2 years of manufacturing work experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment independently post-training and execute daily production tasks.
• Work with bioreactors, buffer/media prep, autoclaves, and related equipment per procedures.
• Record activities and verify data using electronic systems (SAP, Symphony, SCADA, batch records).
• Complete documentation promptly and in compliance with GDP and cGMP.
