Job summary

Amgen Manufacturing Limited in Puerto Rico is seeking an Associate Manufacturing to support life-changing therapies. You will operate manufacturing equipment, monitor processes, and ensure quality and safety across a 24x7 production environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or equivalent, with options for Associates or high school plus experience; bilingual English/Spanish is valued and training is provided. Strong documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; OR Associate’s + 6 months manufacturing experience; OR High school/GED + 2 years manufacturing experience.
• Educational background in Life/Natural Science and/or Engineering.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Computer Based Training (CBT).
• Strong documentation and adherence to SOPs, GDP, and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment independently post-training.
• Handle equipment like bioreactors, autoclaves, and buffer/media prep per procedures.
• Record activities and verify data in electronic systems.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols; participate in shift-based production in a 24x7 environment.
• Support investigations and provide data for root-cause analyses.
