Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct patient care and daily living support for geriatric residents in clinical or residential settings.

You will perform ADLs, assist with mobility, monitor vital signs, and document in the EHR while ensuring care plan adherence and patient safety.

Requirements include an active CNA in-state, CPR/BLS, 1+ year of geriatric CNA experience, and bilingual English with Spanish or Cantonese.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of CNA experience with geriatric or memory care populations.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct personal care and daily living support to elderly patients.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting and hygiene.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and repositioning using gait belts and lifts.
• Distribute meals, assist with feeding, monitor intake and document consumption.
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Document daily care activities and observations in the EHR.
• Maintain safety and infection control in accordance with care plans and HIPAA.
