Job summary

Soccer 5 in Everman, TX seeks a General Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operations of our first Texas location. You’ll own revenue, field utilization, and the customer experience, and you’ll hire and develop the opening team while building relationships with local clubs, schools, and businesses.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of management in sports, recreation, or customer-facing operations.
• Bilingual English and Spanish; lead and coach in both languages.
• Experience hiring, scheduling, training, and supervising hourly staff.
• Proven track record of improving measurable business or team results.
• Ability to build local relationships and convert leads into bookings.
• Work with revenue reports, labor targets, and operating scorecards.
• Calm, professional judgment handling customer and staff issues.
• On-site availability for evenings and weekends during launch.
• Comfort working outdoors and performing routine tasks.
• Able to complete background screening and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build the local growth plan for rentals, bookings, leagues, programs, camps, parties, and events.
• Own revenue and field utilization across peak and off-peak hours.
• Build relationships in the community to create recurring customers and partnerships.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and retain opening team.
• Set expectations and address problems early and fairly.
• Develop Shift Leaders and future Assistant Managers.
• Ensure bookings, payments, waivers, and events are handled accurately.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and readiness of the facility.
• Manage labor and controllable expenses while protecting service.
