Description

Christ Health Center is seeking a Front Office Receptionist who will embrace our mission and bring life to the patients and the communities we serve. The responsibilities include collecting insurance information and patient demographics, collecting payments, data entry, document scanning, patient follow-up calls, answering phones, and scheduling.

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Greet and check patients in and out
  • Answer telephone and voice messages professionally, friendly, and helpful
  • Respond and comply with requests for patient information
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments
  • Maintain provider’s patient schedule
  • Update and maintain patient information following HIPAA guidelines
  • Communicate with clinical staff to maintain patient flow
  • Verify insurance and collect payments at the time of service
  • Balance cash drawer daily
  • Assist other front office staff as needed
  • Participate in staff education, quality assurance, and risk-management programs
Requirements
Qualifications, Education, Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of administrative experience
  • C-PAR certification preferred
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail, organization, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and self-direction
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
  • Work primarily seated, with ability to stoop, bend, reach, and communicate effectively
