Planned Parenthood of Florida is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our Naples health center. The role focuses on front office operations—registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient service—with cross-trained back-office responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish or Creole required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours and cross-train for back-office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, schedule appointments, verify insurance, collect payments, and maintain records.
• Conduct patient intake including medical and social histories and STI screenings.
• Educate patients on birth control options and pregnancy-related services.
• Prepare exam rooms, assist with clinical tasks and lab work as needed.
• Provide excellent patient service aligned with Planned Parenthood values.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in patient records.
• Support daily health center operations through cross-functional collaboration.
