Openwork is seeking a bilingual Temporary Receptionist for an immediate opportunity in Downtown Houston. The role requires 2+ years of receptionist or front-desk experience, strong on-the-phones abilities, and high organization in a fast-paced office environment.

The position offers $20.00 per hour with weekly pay, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30/5:00 PM, ASAP start, approximately 1 month with possible extension based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of receptionist or front-desk experience.
• Bilingual required.
• Strong phone and call-transfer skills.
• Ability to handle multiple incoming calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and check-in.
• Answer, screen, and accurately transfer incoming calls.
• Direct visitors and callers to the appropriate department or service.
• Provide general information without offering legal advice.
• Receive and organise forms, mail, and other documents.
• Complete data entry, scanning, filing, copying, and other clerical duties.
• Schedule appointments and notify staff when visitors arrive.
• Protect confidential and sensitive case information.
• Remain calm and professional when assisting individuals dealing with difficult family situations.
• Maintain an organised and welcoming reception area.
