Gastro Health is seeking a Full-Time Front Desk Representative to join our team in Clifton, OH. You will greet patients, manage records in our practice management system, and verify insurance coverage and referrals to ensure smooth visits.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends or evenings, plus a benefits package and opportunities for advancement within a collaborative team of providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 2+ years experience in medical practice or similar setting.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a pleasant and timely manner.
• Create provider records using the practice management system and scan documents.
• Verify registration forms and obtain physician information.
• Ensure patient has current referral at date of service; obtain if needed.
• Verify benefits and eligibility before visits and procedures.
• Collect co-payments and post payments received.
• Balance and close the time-of-service batch daily.
• Assist patients with questions about balances and payments.
• Maintain lobby/reception area neat and stocked with cards.
• Support physicians and care center to keep schedules on track.
• Answer calls, route messages, and assign tasks as needed.
• Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments.
• Pick up voicemail messages.
• Reschedule no-shows and maintain day’s coverage.
• Assist with record requests, fax inbox, and scanning records.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
