Job summary

Food Bank for Larimer County in Fort Collins seeks a Fresh Food Share Technician to welcome clients, mentor volunteers, and help ensure food is safely and equitably distributed. The role blends hands-on operations with community connection in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.

Responsibilities include operating in a warehouse/kitchen setting, stocking TEFAP and CSFP products, using FEFO practices, maintaining safety standards, and supporting volunteers to create a dignified shopping

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to communicate clearly with clients and volunteers.
Comfort with basic office tech and data entry.

Responsibilities

Welcome and check in clients with professionalism and compassion.
Uphold and monitor Food Safety guidelines for safe distribution.
Stock, organize, and maintain the Food Share distribution area, including TEFAP/CSFP products.
Operate a forklift and/or pallet jack and use FEFO stocking to reduce waste.
Track inventory levels and communicate needs with the Operations Manager.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the facility and supervise volunteers.
