Job summary

Britt Medical, a mission-driven nonprofit healthcare organization serving a culturally diverse patient population across Massachusetts’ Merrimack Valley, is seeking a bilingual Nurse Practitioner to join a collaborative care team.

You will assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, develop individualized care plans, educate patients in English and Spanish, and participate in a Family Medicine Residency Program. Travel between nearby locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts NP licensure or eligibility.
• At least two years of NP experience.
• Bilingual Spanish and English required.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, team-based environment.
• Commitment to culturally responsive, community-based healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and obtain relevant medical histories.
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and episodic exacerbations.
• Review laboratory results and determine appropriate treatment or follow-up.
• Develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings.
• Provide culturally sensitive patient education in English and Spanish.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other care team members.
• Document education, treatment plans, and follow-up needs.
• Travel between nearby clinical locations as needed.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and staff education.
