Job summary

DTK Facility Services, a Texas-based commercial facility services company, is seeking a Floor Technician in Houston to maintain clean, safe, and visually appealing environments across facilities.

You will specialize in stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet shampooing, operate industrial equipment, and perform routine janitorial duties as needed. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, with strong attention to detail and reliable, professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in floor care is required.
• English/Spanish bilingual strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Strip old layers of wax, finish, dirt, and debris from floors using industrial stripping solutions and machines.
• Apply new layers of wax/finish evenly with mops or applicators.
• Buff out scratches and restore floor shine.
• Clean carpets using hot water extraction or shampooing machines.
• Assist with light janitorial and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Support special cleaning or facility setup tasks as required.
• Other duties as needed.
