Job summary

DTK Facility Services, a Texas-based facility services provider, is seeking floor technicians to maintain various floor types and perform stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet shampooing. The role requires use of industrial equipment and the ability to handle routine janitorial tasks in office, school, or medical facility environments.

Candidates should have prior floor care experience, strong attention to detail, and be reliable and punctual.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience is required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional with good customer service.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Strip old wax/finish, dirt, and debris from floors using stripping solutions and floor machines.
• Apply new wax/finish evenly with mops or applicators.
• Buff out scratches and restore floor shine.
• Clean carpets via hot water extraction or shampooing to remove stains.
• Assist with light janitorial tasks (trash/recycling, mirrors/windows, dusting).
• Assist with light maintenance (change bulbs, minor repairs).
• Support special cleaning or facility setup tasks as needed.
• Other duties as needed.
