Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to serve as the first contact for patient care across our Phoenix clinics. The role combines administrative duties with hands-on patient care, including phlebotomy, vaccine administration, vital signs, and TB screening.

The position is a float across Phoenix metro clinics, with a $3,000 bilingual bonus for eligible candidates and a competitive salary range. 40-hour weeks with a performance bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified or Registered.
• Must have Phlebotomy experience.
• Must have medication/vaccine administration experience.
• Must have 1+ years MA experience.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification required.
• Must be patient facing and able to screen for TB.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Assistant discusses symptoms and obtains vital signs.
• They administer medications and vaccines, and perform phlebotomy.
• The Medical Assistant collects specimens and conducts screening tests.
• Additionally, they sterilize equipment and maintain exam rooms.
• The Medical Assistant documents in electronic records.
• They also collaborate with providers within certification limits.
