Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers seeks a Financial Specialist to manage client financial screening and patient accounts across mental health, homeless, and related programs. You will enter data into Allscripts PM and coordinate invoicing with Sea Mar Accounting, ensuring accurate ledgers and timely billing.

Role requires a degree in accounting/related field with 2 years of experience, bilingual Spanish/English preferred, and proficient data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Office Management, or related field, and two years of related work experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.
• Must have strong data entry, organizational and communication skills.
• Must pass a TB test and have a valid Washington driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial screenings to determine pay source and eligibility.
• Enter admissions, discharges, and pay source data into Allscripts PM and DBHR systems.
• Prepare invoices and coordinate with Sea Mar accounting for monthly billing.
• Post charges and payments to ledgers and generate periodic financial reports.
