Qualifications

• Language proficiency in English, Haitian Creole, and/or Spanish for bilingual service delivery.
• Associate’s Degree required; AFC or similar certification is a plus but not required.
• 0–3 years of experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one financial coaching and related economic justice services to individuals, families, and small businesses.
• Conduct client assessments, develop individualized action plans, and support clients in achieving their financial goals.
• Deliver financial capability services including budgeting, credit building, debt management, savings strategies, banking access, consumer protection education, tax preparation, and other services.
• Prepare accurate tax returns and provide tax education through VITA as assigned.
• Conduct outreach and recruitment activities to engage residents in Catalyst Miami's services.
• Plan and facilitate financial capability workshops, presentations, and community education activities.
• Screen clients for eligibility and connect to internal programs, benefits, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate confidential client records in data systems per policy and funder requirements.
• Track client participation and program outcomes for reporting and evaluation.
• Maintain knowledge of best practices and policy changes related to assigned areas.
• Collaborate across Catalyst Miami to provide holistic services.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and agency initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
