Job summary

Fortress Power is seeking a Field Service and Applications Engineer based in Puerto Rico to own technical support and field service for installers and homeowners. You’ll diagnose remotely, visit sites when needed, and bench-test returned hardware to uncover root causes.

You’ll manage tickets end-to-end in Spanish and English, perform remote troubleshooting, commissioning, sizing input, and on-site repairs. Travel is local/regional; you’ll document findings with photos and contribute to knowledge

Qualifications

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English for daily technical support across both queues.
• Self-starter with the ability to manage a heavy ticket volume independently.
• Hands-on depth in solar PV, battery storage, or inverter installation/service/manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Own ticket queue end-to-end: inbound calls, tickets, chat and email in English and Spanish.
• Remote troubleshooting: read faults, guide measurements, determine next steps clearly.
• Commissioning/support: configuration, communications setup, firmware checks.
