Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interfaith setting and respect diverse beliefs.

• Commitment to Christian values and ministry at MCHAP.
• Diplomacy and ability to build relationships with leaders and families.
• Excellent oral and written communication; maintain emotional stability.
• Analytical skills to define problems and follow up.
• Proficient with Google Suites or MS Office and learn new tech.
• Must have an active state driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Visits company worksites (usually weekly) to interact with employees and build trust.
• Provides confidential pastoral discussions for personal issues and family matters.
• Offers referrals to specialized assistance and coordinates support services.
• Assists in planning, conducting, or attending funerals for employees or families.
• Provides post-termination care to ease transitions to new work environments.
• Supports, but does not lead, spiritual enrichment activities as requested.
