Zusammenfassung

Empower Community Care is seeking a full-time Clinical Therapist for the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) program in the San Fernando Valley. The role focuses on delivering in-home, school, and community-based mental health services to emotionally disturbed children and adolescents.

The clinician will conduct assessments, create strength-based plans, and participate in multidisciplinary teams, with some on-call responsibilities and evenings until 8pm. California licensure eligibility required.

Qualifikationen

• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Experience working with children/adolescents with intensive needs desired.
• Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
• Knowledge of evidence-based child and family interventions used in community settings.
• Ability to develop reasonable, appropriate treatment plans and clinical programs.

Aufgaben

• Provide intensive, community-based mental health services as part of FFT team.
• Conduct intakes and comprehensive clinical assessments, including diagnosis, and develop treatment plans.
• Work with youth/families in homes, schools and other settings in collaboration with agencies.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy in various community settings; ensure accessibility and engagement.
• Respond to client crises and manage on-call responsibilities as needed.
