Seneca Family of Agencies in Concord, CA, is seeking a Bilingual Family Partner to provide peer support and advocacy to youth and families involved with wraparound services. You will draw on your own life experiences to engage families and help them participate in care planning.
Role requires a high school diploma/GED, 18+ years of age, and valid driver’s license. Hybrid work, with some in-person and remote documentation, is offered along with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and benefits.

The Bilingual Family Partnerprovides peer support and advocacy to consumers of Seneca’s services. Peer support may include one-on-one peer support as well as in group settings. The Bilingual Family Partner draws upon their own personal experience navigating systems to work individually with family members to engage them in the process, increase their involvement, and assist them in achieving their care plan goals. This includes a wide range of activities in order to function as a member of the supporting team as well as provide individual support. The Bilingual Family Partner may also be involved in community awareness and leadership activities.
Wraparound is a family planning process that provides therapeutic support to youth and families in the community with the intention of enhancing natural resources and keeping youth in the least restrictive and most family-like setting, with the intention of reducing the need for institutional care. Services range up to 12 months and include regular Child and Family Team Meetings that support youth and families with identifying strengths, creating realistic goals, and developing a comprehensive step-by-step plan based on those goals. Youth and families are referred directly by Contra Costa County (CCC) Children and Family Services, the CCC Juvenile Probation Department, CCC Children’s Behavioral Health, or Kaiser
