Job summary

HotFoot Recruiters seeks a Bilingual Exhaust Engineer for large-scale semiconductor projects in North Phoenix, AZ. You will support exhaust and mechanical system installation, coordination, and quality on active sites.

Fluent Mandarin-English is required, with 5+ years in exhaust or mechanical construction. Proficiency reading drawings and project docs is essential; onsite, direct-hire, full-time with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English required.
• 5+ years of exhaust, mechanical construction, piping, ductwork, field engineering, or related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of exhaust systems, ductwork, supports, hangers, piping, equipment connections, and field installation.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, layouts, specifications, and project documentation.
• Semiconductor, cleanroom, industrial, chemical, data center, or high-tech construction experience preferred.
• Experience with inspections, system testing, field coordination, turnover, or commissioning support preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support exhaust and mechanical engineering activities across active construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, revisions, and field installation requirements.
• Coordinate exhaust system installation with contractors, engineers, project managers, and field teams.
• Review ductwork, piping, supports, equipment, and related installations for quality and project compliance.
• Help identify and resolve field conflicts, installation issues, and design coordination concerns.
• Support inspections, testing, walkthroughs, punch lists, and turnover activities.
• Maintain accurate engineering, quality, and project documentation.
• Facilitate communication between Mandarin- and English-speaking project stakeholders.
