Job summary

We Clean Commercial Cleaning is hiring a Bilingual Evening Shift Supervisor to run the nightly cleaning operation of a large multi-building campus in Broward County. This is a production leadership role: you will lead a crew of about 15 cleaners across several buildings, ensure routes stay on schedule, and close each building correctly at night.

The role requires English and Portuguese bilingual ability, on-site supervision Monday to Friday evenings, six hours per day, with paid weekend on-call

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervising cleaning or janitorial crews of 10+ people.
• Fluent in English AND Portuguese (required).
• Spanish or Haitian Creole is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of floor care: wax, burnish, carpet, wood and gym floors.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must pass a Level 2 background screening.
• Comfortable using a smartphone app for checklists and photo reports.
• Firm, organized and reliable; leads by example and does not cut corners.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the evening crew: attendance, team assignments by building, route control and covering absences.
• Walk and inspect every building each night; correct issues before the client sees them.
• Enforce restroom, classroom, office and floor-care procedures, including color-coded cleaning, chemical dwell time and safety rules.
• Own the closing procedure: lights, doors, keys and alarm codes, every building, every night.
• Train new team members and hold the crew accountable for quality and conduct.
• Complete nightly reports, photos and checklists using our mobile app.
• Report incidents, damages, maintenance needs and staff issues to the Account Manager the same night.
• Coordinate the Sunday coverage program when scheduled.

This is a production leadership role: you will lead a crew of about 15 cleaners across several buildings, keep the routes on schedule, and make sure every building is closed, locked and alarmed correctly at the end of the night.

SCHEDULE

• Monday to Friday, evening shift, 6 hours/day (shift starts in the afternoon after the client's business hours; exact start time confirmed at interview)
• Weekend on-call rotation (paid)
• Full-time, year-round position

WHAT YOU WILL DO

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of experience supervising cleaning or janitorial crews of 10 or more people (schools, hospitals, offices or large facilities preferred)
• Fluent in English AND Portuguese (required)
• Spanish or Haitian Creole is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of floor care: waxed floors, burnishing, carpet, wood and gym floors
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass a Level 2 background screening
• Comfortable using a smartphone app for checklists and photo reports
• Firm, organized and reliable; leads by example and does not cut corners
