Job summary

River Grove School District 85.5 is seeking a collaborative, student-centered educator to support our growing PreK–8 community. This full-time role serves Arabic-speaking students and families part-time while providing instructional support in a primary classroom.

Provide instruction aligned to standards, foster language development, and collaborate with ESL staff and families to promote student success in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Illinois Professional Educator Licensure with ESL and/or Bilingual endorsement.
• Experience with multilingual learners and diverse student populations.
• Arabic-speaking educator preferred.

Responsibilities

Bilingual Arabic Teacher & Primary Classroom Support

River Grove School District 85.5 is seeking a collaborative, student-centered educator to support our growing and diverse PreK–8 school community. This full-time teaching position position will serve Arabic-speaking students and families part-time while also providing instructional support within a primary classroom setting.

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality, student-centered instruction and support aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards. Support the academic and language development of Arabic-speaking students while honoring their home language and culture. Collaborate with classroom teachers, ESL staff, and families to promote student success. Provide flexible instructional support to primary students as part of our commitment to meeting the needs of every learner. Establish positive, collegial relationships throughout the school community.

Qualifications:

Candidates must hold or be eligible to hold Illinois Professional Educator Licensure with appropriate endorsement(s). Arabic-speaking educator with ESL and/or Bilingual endorsement preferred. Experience working with multilingual learners and diverse student populations preferred.

Working Conditions: River Grove School District 85.5 is a Pre-K through eighth-grade district serving the students and families of River Grove, IL.
