Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. invites applications for a Leave Replacement Bilingual and ESL Kindergarten Teacher at Hackensack Middle School. The assignment runs 9/1/2026 through 1/15/2027, with anticipated opening for certified staff in 2026-2027.

The successful candidate will hold NJ Certification in Bilingual and ESL and Elementary Education, applying CCSS and WIDA standards, using differentiated instruction and relevant instructional technology to support diverse learners.

Qualifications

NJ Teacher of Bilingual and ESL Certification is required.
NJ Teacher of Elementary Education is required.
Strong fluency and background in language acquisition and culture.
Familiarity with the use of instructional technology as well as differentiated instruction.
Knowledge of effective/creative instructional strategies.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, flexibility, and ability to collaborate with colleagues both inside and outside of the Bilingual Department.

Responsibilities

Foster a nurturing and trusting academic environment
Implement the Common Core and WIDA Standards in the delivery of daily academic instruction
Develop learning activities and use differentiated instruction to address the various types of learners
Collaborate with colleagues in Professional Learning Communities
Document and track student performance using various assessments
Utilize technology effectively in daily lessons, including gathering and managing student data as required by the district and school administrator
