Insight Recruitment in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks an experienced Concrete Superintendent/Foreman to lead field operations for residential, agricultural, and select commercial projects. The role offers ownership of scheduling, crew development, and project execution with strong pay incentives.

You will work directly with the owner, develop crews, and drive improvements in field systems while addressing safety, quality, and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of concrete field leadership experience preferred.

If you're an experienced Concrete Superintendent - or an exceptional Concrete Foreman ready for the next step - this could be the opportunity you've been working toward. Our client is a well-established concrete contractor in the Lincoln, Nebraska area with nearly 30 years in business, very low turnover, and a strong reputation for quality work and long-term relationships. The work is primarily residential concrete, along with agricultural and select commercial projects. The owner is looking for a strong concrete leader who can gradually take significant ownership of field operations, develop crews, improve scheduling and communication, and help build the next chapter of the company.

This is a smaller-company leadership opportunity with direct access to the owner, real influence, and far less bureaucracy than a large GC environment. The right person will receive extensive leadership development during the first year while bringing the concrete knowledge needed to contribute from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead multiple active concrete projects and field crews
• Create and communicate weekly work schedules
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, concrete pours, and subcontractors
• Monitor labor productivity, job costs, quality, and safety
• Make sound field decisions when weather, labor, inspections, materials, or pour schedules change
• Serve as a key field contact for customers and contractors
• Develop Foremen and future crew leaders
• Improve scheduling, reporting, communication, and field systems so the business can continue to grow
• Reduce the owner's day-to-day involvement by taking real ownership of field execution

Who We're Looking For

• Meaningful hands-on concrete experience; 5-7+ years is ideal, but depth and capability matter more than an arbitrary number
• Proven experience leading concrete crews, jobsites, or field operations
• Practical knowledge of concrete from site preparation and forming through reinforcing, pouring, finishing, quality control, and completion
• Ability to coordinate labor, equipment, materials, schedules, and multiple active jobsStrong judgment and the ability to solve field problems without constant handholding
• Respectful, steady leadership style that earns trust and develops people
• Strong customer and contractor communication
• Desire to grow into greater operational responsibility over time

Spanish Is a Plus - Not a Requirement

Spanish-speaking ability is a strong plus given the makeup of the field crews, but it is not required. The company is open to the strongest concrete leader overall and can support bilingual communication within the crews.

Travel

Projects are generally within approximately a 300-350-mile radius of Lincoln. Overnight travel is required when projects are outside the local area. Lodging is paid, a $75 daily per diem is provided, and most weekends are spent at home.
