Job summary

State of Washington's Employment Security Department, WorkSource Sunnyside, seeks a dual-language WorkSource Specialist 4 to deliver customer-centered employment and training services. The incumbent will conduct assessments, manage caseloads, and guide job seekers to sustainable employment, communicating effectively in Spanish in person, via phone, and in writing.

This position works in-office in Sunnyside with eligibility for at least 1 day of telework per week after training.

Qualifications

• Client-centered service delivery with goal setting and service plan development.
• Eligibility assessment and determining client qualifications.
• Employability plan development and ongoing career coaching.
• Career coaching and follow-up to track progress and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develops individualized service strategies based on needs assessment and helps customers set self-sufficiency goals.
• Conducts interviews to articulate program services and identify components applicable to customer need.
• Manages caseload, provides case management, facilitates support services or referrals, and removes barriers.
• Assesses knowledge, skills, and abilities to determine appropriate employment and training activities.
• Builds partnerships with WorkSource and community organizations to coordinate enrollments and promote programs.
