Job summary

Reaching Beyond Limits is seeking a full-time Bilingual Employment Specialist to help individuals with intellectual disabilities find and maintain meaningful employment, while building workplace skills, confidence, and independence. You will develop tailored job opportunities, assist with resumes and interviews, and collaborate with employers to create inclusive workplaces.

Strong bilingual communication, organization, and a passion for helping others are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services strongly suggested.
• Two years experience with individuals with Intellectual Disabilities.
• Bilingual proficiency required.
• Valid driver’s license with adequate insurance.
• Willingness to transport clients.
• ACRE Certificate within 9 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized job development strategies.
• Assess individuals' strengths, interests, and employment goals.
• Assist with resumes, job searches, and interview preparation.
• Support individuals in learning job responsibilities and maintaining employment.
• Build relationships with employers to promote inclusive workplaces.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively in both languages with individuals and employers.
• Represent Reaching Beyond Limits Employment Services professionally.
