Job summary

The Aide, Bilingual Spanish, serves under the Supervisor for Programs for English Language Learners and the principal to support ELL students and ensure compliance with FLDOE and USDOE requirements. This role focuses on comprehensible instruction, parent involvement, and community outreach during the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities include assisting with testing, small-group instruction, and maintaining program records.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish as required for ELL support.
• Knowledge of district/DOE program requirements and records.
• Ability to work with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Participates in meetings and training for compliance and outreach.
• Assists in testing students in heritage language or English.
• Works with small groups under supervision of a teacher.
• Maintains program records with ELL Committee and staff.
• Translates basic home/school communications for parents.
