Job summary

Qualifications

• Hold at least a bachelors degree and official transcripts
• Certified in Texas as Bilingual Generalist EC-4/EC-6 and Core Subjects EC-6
• Demonstrate competency in the core subject area
• Commitment to Jubilee Academies mission

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to the curriculum with written prep evidence
• Prepare emergency lesson plans for two days
• Accommodate differences in student learning styles in lessons
• Present material per TEA guidelines and school policies
• Use strategies/materials/equipment reflecting diverse learning needs
• Assess student learning styles and tailor activities
• Collaborate with SPED teachers to modify curricula per IEPs
• Work with staff to set goals and methods per district requirements
• Supervise teacher aides/volunteers
• Use technology to enhance teaching/learning
• Participate in extended day and weekend tutoring
• Perform other duties as assigned
