Job summary

Hyundai Engineering is seeking an experienced Construction Engineer to join our project teams in the U.S. The role emphasizes hands-on site management, safety, and efficient coordination of the workforce on construction sites.

You will supervise activities, review plans, ensure compliance with codes, and collaborate with multiple departments to keep projects on schedule. A background in architectural/civil engineering and 3–5 years of field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in building construction engineering or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees overall site management to maintain a clean and safe construction environment.
  • Coordinate workforce and supervise construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
  • Monitor material quality and workmanship on sites.
  • Collaborate with departments to resolve issues and ensure progress.
