Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Valid Illinois teaching licensure appropriate for the position, with bilingual and/or English Learner endorsement based on responsibilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with staff, families, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, small-group, and individualized instruction to English Learners.
• Develop academic English skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension.
• Use assessment data to identify learning needs and adjust instruction.
• Create targeted instructional plans aligned with language and academic needs.
• Collaborate with classroom instructors to provide supports and accommodations for EL scholars.
• Monitor progress and document language and academic development.
