Job summary

PrideNow is hiring an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist/Trainer in Oak Creek, WI. The role focuses on conducting safety trainings, maintaining records, leading Safety Committee meetings, and performing inspections and audits to improve workplace safety.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of safety experience (3+ years preferred), a safety-related degree, and bilingual abilities in Spanish and English. Travel within the U.S. and Canada may be required, and a passport is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of safety-related work experience required.
• 3+ years of EHS experience preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Must maintain a current passport.
• Preferred certifications include GSP, ASP, or CRSP.
• Conveyors and machine guarding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety training for new hires, employees, and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical safety training records.
• Lead and facilitate Safety Committee meetings.
• Conduct workplace inspections, safety surveys, and audits.
• Support hazard identification, risk assessments, and continuous safety improvements.
• Manage Return-to-Work and light-duty programs.
• Support initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and workers' compensation claims.
• Audit safety programs and identify unsafe conditions and exposures.
• Translate safety documents between English and Spanish.
• Analyze safety data and identify trends related to hazards and incidents.
• Partner with operations to implement improved procedures.
• Manage the emergency clinic and support first aid response.
