Job summary

Furlani Foods Corporation is seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist/Trainer in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. This role includes providing training for staff regarding safety protocols as per OSHA regulations and managing safety training records. The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and have relevant safety experience.

This full-time position requires the ability to engage with all personnel at the plant, effectively communicate safety issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards. A flexible schedule is expected, with shifts ranging from eight to ten hours a day.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of safety-related work experience.
• Conveyor Safety and Machine Guarding safety experience is beneficial.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide training to new employees and staff on safety and health.
• Manage all training records in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Run the Safety Committee and facilitate GEMBA audits.
