Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a bilingual EHS Manager in Rhode Island to lead the safety program, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive a safe, healthy workplace. The role involves designing policies, training teams, and coordinating incident investigations with cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities include implementing safety procedures, conducting hazard analyses, reporting to authorities, and managing workers’ compensation processes.

Qualifications

• Background in safety or EHS programs preferred.
• Experience applying OSHA rules and regulations.
• Ability to train managers and staff on site safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety policies in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Train managers and employees on site safety and proper chemical handling.
• Analyze accident causes and hazards for internal and external use.
• Inspect facilities for hazards and coordinate corrective actions.
• Provide safety materials and signage to warn of hazards.
• Lead accident investigations and assist in regulatory proceedings.
• Prepare and file accident reports with regulatory agencies.
• Oversee workers’ compensation program with insurer to minimize lost time.
• Create safety exhibits and materials for displays or conferences.
• Represent SBM in safety groups and programs; maintain safety records.
• Travel as needed for the role.
