Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Bilingual EHS Manager in Coventry, RI. The role plans, directs, and implements the safety program to create a safe, healthy, and accident-free environment, either personally or through supervisors.

The position requires leading safety policy development, training, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting, with some travel and a focus on Spanish-language communication. A Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field with 5–8 years of experience.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience supervising staff and implementing safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA rules and regulations.
• Train managers and employees in work site safety practices and chemical handling.
• Analyze industrial accident causes and hazards for internal and external use.
• Inspect facilities to detect hazards and implement corrective measures.
• Provide safety information, signs, and barriers to warn of hazards.
• Lead accident investigations and cooperate in hearings and insurance investigations.
• Prepare and submit accident reports to regulatory agencies.
• Oversee workers’ compensation program with the insurer to reduce lost time.
• Prepare safety exhibits and materials for displays and conferences.
• Represent the company in safety groups and programs.
• Maintain safety files and records.
• Some travel may be required for this position.
• Bilingual in Spanish required.
