Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; ESL/TESOL certification or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and Spanish required.
• At least 3 years of teaching and supervising, including 1 year supervisory experience.
• First aid and CPR certification; emergency behavior intervention training.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more subject areas as assigned.
• Identify and document educational needs of all children in care.
• Develop and implement an educational curriculum that is culturally competent.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Travel between locations daily and meet reporting deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow Compass Connections policies.
