Job summary

LATINX TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNITY CENTER is seeking an Education Programs Coordinator in Flint, MI to plan, coordinate, and evaluate educational and youth-development programs including ESL/Spanish classes, tutoring, and summer programs.

You will work with instructors, volunteers, students and families to ensure programs are welcoming, organized, and culturally responsive, while managing enrollment, communications, and data collection. The role requires collaboration and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in education, youth development or program coordination.
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
• Experience with diverse communities.
• Strong organizational and multi-program coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain records and write clear reports.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and classroom tech.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Background screening requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate educational programs from development to completion.
• Coordinate ESL/Spanish language classes, tutoring, and youth programs.
• Develop schedules, enrollment processes, and implementation plans.
• Coordinate classroom logistics, materials, tech, transportation, meals, field trips.
• Monitor participation, progress, and outcomes; propose improvements.
• Maintain communications with students, families, instructors, and partners.
• Ensure safety, inclusivity, and compliance with LTCC policies.
• Assist with recruitment and supervision of instructors and volunteers.
• Support program development and community engagement activities.
• Maintain accurate program records and data for reporting.
