Job summary

Yew Chung International School of Silicon Valley is seeking an ECE Teacher (English) to co‑teach in a bilingual English–Mandarin program. You will implement a developmentally appropriate, inquiry‑based curriculum and support early childhood learning in a diverse community.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the ECE Director, family communication, and ongoing professional development to uphold YCIS principles and California licensing expectations.

Qualifications

• Two years full-time teaching experience in preschool/ECE.
• BA or higher in Child Development, ECE or related field (AA considered).
• Child Development Permit from CA CTC preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Google Suite, iWork and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Plan and deliver a developmentally appropriate inquiry-based curriculum.
• Observe and support individual children’s development and learning.
• Document student learning using portfolios, reports and digital tools.
• Maintain open communication with families and involve them in school activities.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school events.
