Qualifications

• Must meet California licensing requirements and hold an ECE credential.
• Experience with infant-related ECE units is preferred.
• Bi-cultural/double language environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and teach preschoolers in a safe, creative learning environment.
• Plan and implement a comprehensive preschool program using inquiry/project approaches.
• Collaborate within the teaching team to deliver an expansive curriculum and adapt plans.
• Maintain knowledge of ECE best practices and use DRDP/ASQ/ECERS/CLASS tools.
• Ensure supervision of all children and adapt teaching to individual needs.
• Foster relationships with caregivers and communicate health and development updates.
• Engage with children during outdoor play and conduct parent-teacher conferences.
• Follow routines including meals, diapering, and supplies management.
• Comply with local/state regulations; Cantonese/Mandarin proficiency a plus.
