Job summary

CHCF’s Early Care and Education team in the Bronx, NY is seeking an Early Childhood Education Specialist to manage a caseload of Home-based Child Care Providers across all five boroughs. You will coordinate training and technical assistance to improve program quality and child outcomes.

You will work with a team to design coaching plans, conduct regular assessments, and deliver group trainings and PLCs. Some weekend trainings may be required as part of CHCF events.

Qualifications

• Full professional fluency in English and Spanish (writing, reading, academic level).
• Aspire education/professional ladder: 4B or above.
• Will complete Aspire credentialing within 6 months; preference for those with valid Aspire credential.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with providers and develop respectful, responsive relationships.
• Create individualized coaching plans based on assessments and needs.
• Facilitate bimonthly site visits with caseload providers.
• Coordinate quality-improvement services and resources.
• Document progress with case notes, visits, and work products.
• Lead trainings and PLCs; participate in CHCF events.
• Maintain provider files and complete data entry.
• Commit to co-teaching and shared decision-making.
