Job summary

The Early Education Specialist will join CHCF to train and coach home-based childcare providers in Brooklyn County, delivering targeted training and technical assistance to improve program quality.

You will manage a caseload, conduct assessments, develop individualized coaching plans, and support providers with evidence-based practices in a bilingual setting. The role requires collaborative problem-solving and culturally competent coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology or related field.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Aspire credentialing and T-TAP credentialing within 6 months/2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with childcare providers to support learning and positive changes.
• Perform initial, midpoint, and final assessments for caseload providers using FCCERS-3, CLASS, etc.
