Job summary

Frontier Door & Cabinet, LLC in El Paso, TX seeks a Buyer III - Door Division to manage full procurement for doors, millwork, frames, jambs, and hardware on-site. You will work with English and Spanish speakers, leverage Agility ERP to maintain item masters, POs, and inventory, and build strong vendor relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective supply for manufacturing operations.

Minimum 3 years of relevant purchasing experience and deep knowledge of door/millwork terminology are

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience specifically within the door, millwork, or building products industry.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; bilingual communication is essential for supplier and manufacturing contacts.
• Hands-on experience with Agility ERP; ability to train staff and optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for doors, millwork, frames, jambs, hardware, and related products.
• Maintain item masters, purchase orders, and inventory records in Agility ERP; train staff and drive process improvements.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships; negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms.
• Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking vendors and internal stakeholders about status and availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points; anticipate needs for the manufacturing schedule.
• Verify quantities and specifications on purchase requests before placing orders.
• Maintain purchasing records, reconcile POs against receipts, and resolve vendor discrepancies.
• Assist in establishing purchasing policies and compliance related to inventory control.
• Prioritize orders and respond to production-driven changes; support continuous improvement in purchasing.
• Maintain dependable attendance and adapt to manufacturing pace.
